John Hanson Memorial Prize
In 1985, The John Hanson Memorial Prize was created to annually recognize the best paper on an employee benefits topic. The winning paper is nominated by the Hanson Prize Committee and ratified by the AERF Committee of The Actuarial Foundation. Papers are judged on appropriateness of subject material, timeliness of topic, originality and practical application to employee benefits.
