following Casualty Loss Reserve Seminar

The Conference offered a Small Consulting Firms & Practices Roundtable on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 14th at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada. This roundtable focused on running and marketing a small business. The discussions were led by Conference members with multiple years of consulting experience who run successful smaller consulting firms. This roundtable was designed for actuaries currently at smaller consulting firms, actuaries thinking about starting a consulting firm, and actuaries planning to consult part-time after retirement. Much of the discussion applied to small consulting practices at large firms also.
