Since joining The McKeogh Company in 2012, Boris has been involved with advising multiemployer pension, annuity, and health funds on actuarial, financial and compliance matters. Boris has consulted clients on funding strategies, changes in benefit design, plan mergers, and most recently, advising distressed plans on options such as benefit suspensions and plan partitions available per the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014. Prior to joining The McKeogh Company in 2012, Boris was a Retirement Consultant in Willis Towers Watson's Philadelphia office for over 11 years, where he specialized in the management of pension and postretirement welfare programs for single employer plans. He also has experience with defined contribution plans, executive benefit programs, and overall benefit design and delivery. Boris has provided support for private and public companies ranging in size from $300M-$10B+ in revenue and across numerous industries, including regulated and non-regulated utilities, managed services, oil & gas refining and logistics, as well as a number of manufacturing industries such as electronic and electromechanical instruments, sports card and entertainment products, and specialty glass and ceramics. Boris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA. He is also a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Boris has previously presented at Enrolled Actuaries Meetings and at the Actuaries Club of Philadelphia and has been involved in drafting, proctoring, and grading actuarial examinations for the Society of Actuaries.
