Lisa is a subject matter specialist consulting on accounting for pensions and other postretirement benefits as part of PwC’s People and Organization Practice in the US Global Human Resource Services (GHRS) as a member of the HR Accounting Advisory group. As a US national resource, she advises on the accounting implications of employee benefit programs on employer’s and plan's financial statements under FASB, GASB, NAIC, and/or IFRS principles. She leads the pensions and other postretirement benefits audit support in the Boston office and supervises pension and other postretirement benefits valuations. She serves on the GHRS Actuarial Practice Committee which oversees US GHRS technical and actuarial policies. She frequently presents at professional conferences. Prior to joining PwC, she worked on pension plan and postretirement valuations and design as part of the Boston, MA office of a major international actuarial and employee benefits firm. She began her career as an analyst in the pension actuarial consulting group of a major insurance company in Hartford, CT. She is a Member of the AAA’s Committee on Professional Responsibility and an interested party working with the Committee on Post-Retirement Needs and Risks of the SOA's Pension Section.
