Named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Benefit Consulting by Employee Benefit Adviser, Tami Simon is a nationally recognized employee benefits business leader and healthcare expert. Beginning in October, Tami started with Segal as the new Corporate Business Leader, working to bring HR and employee benefit solutions to corporate employers across Segal’s geographies and practices. Before starting with Segal, Tami was the global practice leader of Buck's Knowledge Resource Center, the firm’s cross practice legal compliance, thought leadership, data analytics and survey team. From 2013-2016, Tami also led Buck's Career Practice, including compensation, talent management, and management consulting. Throughout her career, Tami has remained rooted in her employee benefits subject matter expertise. Tami has testified before the US Congress and Federal Government agencies and was recently inducted as a Fellow in the elite American College of Employee Benefit Counsel. Tami is also a highly sought-after public speaker presenting for organizations including Harvard Business School, American Law Institute, SHRM, IFEBP, and ISCEBS. Tami has authored numerous articles in nationally recognized industry publications and has been quoted by leading news outlets including the Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, CFO Magazine, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and US News & World Report. Before joining Buck, Tami worked for Mercer, the law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery, Hewitt Associates and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office; she also served as a judicial intern for the Iowa District Court.
