Aaron Shapiro is a Principal and Consulting Actuary in the retirement group of the Wealth Practice at Conduent HR Services. His responsibilities include leading retirement actuarial services on a wide array of clients. Aaron’s areas of expertise include valuation of retirement plans, supplemental executive retirement plans, and postretirement medical plans, determination of withdrawal liability, zone status projections, stochastic funded status projections, non discrimination testing, government filings, testing and implementation of benefit administrative systems, retirement plan redesign and implementation of qualified and nonqualified early retirement window programs. With 17 years of experience, Aaron provides actuarial consulting services to a wide array of clients, including large public sector plans, church plans, multi-employer plans, corporate plans and not-for-profit plan sponsors. Aaron is the national leader for our Church Plan Practice and is a member of the leadership groups of our Public Plan Practice and Multi-Employer Plan Practice. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an enrolled actuary under ERISA. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s of business administration in Finance and Investments from Baruch College.
