There is a Small Consulting Firms & Practices Roundtable on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 29, at the site of and following the Enrolled Actuaries Meeting. The roundtable speakers focus on running and marketing a small business.  The discussions are led by Conference members with multiple years of consulting experience who run successful smaller consulting firms. This roundtable is appropriate for actuaries currently at smaller consulting firms, actuaries thinking about starting consulting firms, and actuaries planning to consult part-time after retirement. Much of the discussion also applies to small consulting practices at large firms.
