John J. Schubert is a Specialist Leader for Deloitte Consulting, LLP. He has over 30 years of professional actuarial and consulting experience with his main focus being retiree health and welfare benefits.

John has served on the Board of Directors of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (2003-2006 and 2008-present) and the American Academy of Actuaries (2002-2005, 2006-2008, 2009-present). He has also served as a Trustee of The Actuarial Foundation since 2011. John is a 2008 distinguished alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley.

John is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in actuarial science and risk and insurance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
